Where are wedding events taking place?
All the wedding events (ceremony, reception, dinner, dancing and day after) take place at the Castelnau des Fieurmarcom itself. We will provide transport from and to the hotels in Lectoure for the guests that are not staying in the village.
How do I get to the village?
By Air
The nearest airport to Castelnau des Fieumarcon is Toulouse (roughly 1hr 30 minutes drive away).
Bordeaux Airport and Bergerac Airport are alternative options, although slightly further at 1hr 45 minutes.
By Train
Agen is the closest train station to Castelnau des Fieumarcon (30 minute drive). You can get the Eurostar from St Pancras International to Paris Gare du Nord, taxi to Paris Montparnasse and then train to Agen.
Car Hire
If possible we highly recommend hiring a car to get around (also the best way to explore the beautiful surrounding area and villages!). All major hire companies are available at Toulouse Airport and Bordeaux Airport. Here are two sites to book: www.autoeurope.com or www.rentalcars.com

What to see and do in Gascony?
Gascony is an area of southwest France that was part of the "Province of Guyenne and Gascony" prior to the French Revolution. Land of Armagnac, foie gras, truffles & D’Artagnon and the Musketeers.
There are tonnes of options to keep you occupied if you visit for longer than the weekend.
Gascony is one of the most unspoilt and rural regions of France with idyllic local villages and towns, beautiful scenery and a fantastic reputation for its gastronomy with local markets and restaurants selling wonderful local produce including foie gras and confits.

Speeches or other performances?
YES! We love a good speech. Please inform our wedding planner Roos if you want to surprise us with a speech or other funny performance. We appreciate your efforts enormously!
How can I let you know about my dietary requirements?
Please inform Roos ([email protected]) as soon as possible about your dietary wishes. We want you all to be safe and comfortable!
During our evening dinners on Friday, Saturday and Sunday we'll make sure that we have a vegetarian and non vegetarian meal as the standard.
Is there a wedding gift registry?
Cliché, but true: our biggest gift is your attendance to our wedding. We are aware that many people are making a huge effort to get to France for our wedding and for us, genuinely, your presence at our wedding is more than we could hope for.
Should you wish to give us a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon in Africa would be lovely.
Can we bring our kids to the wedding?
Unfortunately, as much as we’ d love to invite all of our friends’ children, we are unable to accommodate children beyond our flower girls.
We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special wedding weekend.
Can I bring a date?
Oh la la. In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

What about Covid-19 and the wedding?
We aim on that the French government removes all limits on social contact, including wedding restrictions by September 2021. If this is not the case, we will follow up with the Covid-19 guidelines provided by the French government.
One of the measures, we are considering is proper testing ahead of our wedding to keep all you all healthy and safe. Since you are traveling from United States, United Kingdom, France and The Netherlands to come to our wedding, this is obviously our top priority and concern.
